Clinical or Dispensing Audiologist

Under the general supervision of the Head & Neck Surgery Physician Chief and the Service Unit Manager, you will administer diagnostic audiologic tests to differentiate between types of hearing disorders, coordinate and interpret results, facilitate the hearing aid fit process, and consult and advise physicians of the Permanente Medical Group. You will also prepare reports, develop improvements in procedures, and perform other related duties. In addition, the dispensing audiologist will coordinate the hearing aid fit process including being responsible for programming and rehabilitation as it relates to hearing aids.
Another key role you will play in this position will be helping to promote a professional atmosphere for patient care and promote a customer service–focused atmosphere.  

Previous post-licensure experience in audiology required. Demonstrable proficiency in diagnostic evaluation of hearing and prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services for auditory problems, and excellent prioritizing and problem-solving abilities are also required.

Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service to patients, members, physicians, and peers. Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability and desire to interact positively with staff of various classifications and the general public are essential.

EARS Inc.  is seeking a Full time/Part time audiologist for a busy otology practice in San Jose, California.

Job duties include adult and pediatric audiological evaluations and hearing aid evaluations/fittings, electrophysiological testing including OAE, ABR, ECogh, and VEMP, vestibular testing including CDP and VNG.

Benefit package includes competitive salary, paid time off, 401K, flexible schedule, and continuing education allowances. Willing to train but the ideal candidate will have experience with the above mentioned job duties. California state audiology and hearing aid dispenser’s license preferred. Out of state candidates are encouraged to apply.
